Clivia Haupt Coaching Terms & Conditions

1. Parties & Scope

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are between you(the “Client”) and Clivia Haupt Coaching(“Coach”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your participation in coaching sessions, workshops, group work, online packages, content, downloads, and all services offered via our website cliviahaupt.co.za.

2. Services Offered

You may engage us for one-on-one coaching (e.g. The Clarity Session, The Anchor Immersion, Private Inquiry), group programmes, workshops, or online coaching content. Details of each package (scope, duration, deliverables) are provided on the Coaching Packages page.

3. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are made via our online booking form, or by agreement via email or message.
  • Payment is required before or at the time of booking (as specified for each package). Some services may require full payment in advance; others may allow part payments or deposits.
  • Acceptable payment methods are those listed on the site (e.g. bank transfer, credit/debit card, etc.).

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you must give at least 24 hours’ notice in writing (email or message).
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the session fee (no refund).
  • If we (the Coach) need to cancel or reschedule, we will notify you and offer an alternative time.

5. Refunds

  • Once a package or workshop has commenced, refunds are generally not available.
  • Unused sessions in a package may be considered for pro-rata credit or refund at our discretion, subject to written request and depending on circumstances.

6. Online Sessions & Technical Issues

  • Online sessions are conducted via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. You are responsible for having a stable internet connection, functional device (computer, tablet etc.), and private, quiet space.
  • If technical problems occur due to your internet or device, the session may be paused or rescheduled, but we are not responsible for failures outside our control.
  • Recording of sessions only occurs with mutual consent.

7. Confidentiality & Client Responsibilities

  • We will maintain confidentiality of all information shared in coaching, except where required by law (harm to self/others, legal requirement).
  • You agree to participate actively, be honest, do any agreed-upon tasks, and arrive on time.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, toolkits, worksheets, handouts, branding, content etc. provided by Clivia Haupt Coaching remain our intellectual property.
  • You may use them for personal use only; you may not reproduce, distribute, or sell them without our written permission.

9. No Guarantees / Results

  • Coaching is a collaborative process. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results. Different people have different levels of readiness, resources, circumstances.
  • Any testimonials or past results are illustrative, not promises.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by South African law, the Coach is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury (direct or indirect) arising from or connected with your participation in coaching, workshops, or content.
  • You agree to indemnify us against any claims that may arise from your misuse or misinterpretation of the service.

11. Termination of Agreement

  • Either party may terminate the contract in writing under circumstances of material breach (e.g. non-payment, inappropriate behavior).
  • In such case, fees already paid are non-refundable, except where law requires otherwise.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  • Any dispute arising shall first be attempted to be resolved via negotiation or mediation, before resorting to courts.

13. Amendments

  • We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes (e.g. by email or via this website). Continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance.
